Festival or Organisation description:

We are thrilled to announce that this year's Festival will be opened by KEVIN AND KAREN CLIFTON, professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing.  (Please note this is NOT the full tour performance,)  We are delighted that the lovely MUMS IN DURHAM CHOIR will also be appearing, together with the charming dancers of the KERRY ANN O'NEILL SCHOOL OF DANCE.  This will be a treat of an evening, so please put Friday 21st July at the Alexandra Auditorium, Yarm School (cheating a bit with the venue!) in your diary as booking will be opening soon.  We would love to see you there.

There will be plenty of other gems, including...

Our singers will be returning to THE BOWES MUSEUM for their (and our!) third year.  2017's production will be DIE FLEDERMAUS, and we promise another evening of wonderful singing in this magical venue.  They will also be performing in a Russian (mostly in English!) concert at THE, BLACK BULL, FROSTERLEY.

We are delighted to welcome SALLY KETTLE, plucky Atlantic rower, to the Festival.  Details of workshops and lectures for children and adults will be posted soon.  A children's opera based on Sally's exploits is being written for the Festival by Lorna Baillie.

In discussion: a fete.  Entertainers, workshops, cake!  Again, details will appear on our website and social media.

There will be a wonderful selection of events for all ages; something for everyone.  Please keep an eye on our website, and we would be happy to hear from you if you would like to email us and be added to our mailing list.

Thank you.
